We'll also post those deep thoughts triggered in your head after a great History lecture, or maybe the poem inspired by listening to one of our visiting authors.

So come back often or updates and submit your ideas sooner than later.

ACAD 126, Acadmic 126, holds 150 people in a lecture hall setting. There is a large screen in front of the room where we can show videos, Power Points, Presi’s, or websites.

The panelists will sit at 2 long tables on stage, facing the attendees.

Speakers will rise to the podium after they are introduced.

Please let us know if you will need to use the projector or the computer during your talk.

Notes on time. We will start on time. If we run over time, we will cut into the Q & A, for which we have allotted 10 minutes. We do not know if the room is in use after our event. We will proceed as if it is. However, if we do have extra time, we will strive to allot at least 10 minutes extra, and then encourage folks to continue the conversation in the hall, at the café, via social media, or via LASO meetings.

LASO members must pass around a sign up sheet to get a record of attendance, and to add new students to our email list. LASO must also have flyers out for our upcoming events, meetings. LASO members should promote our website and social media platforms to guests. We should have LASO members greeting and seating attendees as they enter, and asking them to sign in.
